If New Vegas had more of these and taught the player that passing a check isn't always a good thing, it would have been great. I thought Dean could do with some redemption. After speaking with Aurelius of Phoenix, he offers the character a bounty on the lives of NCR soldiers. Thats not a glitch, thats literally what is supposed to happen. Plus it seems as if most people don't even bother with the Barter check, they just kill him and take his gun and guitar. Not super regretful, but I'm a little conflicted in letting Dean Domino survive. Do not use any barter checks if you want to keep Dean Domino alive. It's a single barter check that makes you say something along the lines of "you assume you're bargaining from a position of power", which obviously is a put down to him.
